.What can I say.....this year has been off to a rough start, kinda of a continuation from last May. We just can't seem to get a program off the ground. But we aren't quitting.

Did a compression test on the engine in the car and found cylinder #4 down 30 pounds, so that engine is coming out, and the bracket motor is going in, for a little while. And when the pistons were pulled out the engine that was only in the car for 20 passes, all the rod bearings were showing quite a bit of stress from a lack of lubrication. Suspect the Milodon oil pan that is legal pan for use on the stocker engine may not have enough baffling in it and is allowing the oil pump to pull a little air doing the launch. The bracket motor will have the old Moroso 8 quart oil pan with a Cook Motorsport baffle mod. That motor had over 200 passes and the bearing still looked good. Then all we need to do is go racing and see what happens......easier said than done.
